Color Fusers August Blog Hop!

The first Monday of the month always brings a new color challenge for the Color Fusers team! Welcome to our August Blog Hop! If you know me well from visiting my blog often, you know that I am a creature of non-traditional colors. I used today's color challenge to create my two projects using a new stamp set called Pick A Pumpkin and you'll be able to order this beautiful stamp set on September 1st. Do you like my gourds and pumpkins using our colors?

This is a stamp set I received when Dave and I visited Thailand on the Stampin' Up! Incentive Trip. It was one of our Pillow Gifts. This stamp set does have coordinating Patterned Pumpkins Thinlits Dies, but when creating my project ahead of time, I did not have the dies in hand yet so I hand-cut all of the gourds and pumpkins:

Here is a close-up photo of the all details:

And a coordinating tag:

I just love the addition of the Glitter Enamel Dots on my card and tag. The color was just perfect!

I hope you enjoyed today's projects and I'm so glad you stopped in to visit. Below are the links for my teammates participating in the blog hop today. If you click on one name, you'll be directed to their page and see the same list there also and you can keep going from blog to blog as you visit each page:

  1. I would never have thought to use that stamp set with these colors. It works great! It sure opens the set up for new possibilities!

  2. I just smiled when I saw your projects. I love the alternative color scheme for a card with pumpkins. Plus I love all the additional stamping and elements. Fun card!
